On the charges of tax evasion, the I-T department on Monday, raided multiple premises of Omaxe group in the national capital region and few other cities, informed officials.
The officers of the tax department are scouting for company documents and financial transactions related to their real estate business and as per the sources, at least 30 locations across Delhi-NCR and some others in UP and Punjab are being covered.
In Delhi-NCR, Omaxe is amongst the leading real estate developers. It also has significant presence in similar product projects of Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
